IPTV in the Netherlands, explained in English
This is the English corner of a Dutch site. It exists for one specific group: people living in the Netherlands who want the Dutch channels and the channels from back home in the same place, without a cable contract. Read the note about support before you go any further.
Who this is for
If you moved to the Netherlands and you want three things at once — the Dutch channels so you can follow what happens here, the channels from your own country, and live sport without buying three separate subscriptions — then the standard Dutch options make you choose.
A cable subscription gives you Dutch channels and charges extra for sport. NLZIET gives you Dutch channels and archive, but nothing international. Your home country’s own streaming service usually will not work from a Dutch IP address, or works badly.
That gap is the reason these English pages exist.
What you actually get
- Dutch channels, the same ones you would get on cable: NPO 1, 2 and 3, RTL 4, 5, 7 and 8, SBS 6, Net5, Veronica, the regional broadcasters and the Flemish channels.
- International channels: Turkish, Moroccan, Arabic, Surinamese, Antillean, Indian, German and British. This is the part most people come for. Details on international channels.
- Sport, included rather than sold as a separate add-on.
- Films and series on demand, in HD and where available 4K.
What you do not get is a Netflix account, a Disney+ account or any other streaming service bundled in. Anyone in this market who advertises that is selling you shared logins that stop working.
The honest part about support
We are a Dutch-language service. Support runs over WhatsApp, 24 hours a day, and it runs in Dutch.
In practice a lot of that works fine in English too — installation is mostly screenshots and step-by-step instructions, and both sides can use a translator. But if being able to phone someone in fluent English at 23:00 is a requirement for you, we are not the right choice, and we would rather you knew that now.
What it costs
You can start with one month at €10 and stop there if it does not suit you. The longest term works out at €5 a month. The full breakdown is on plans and pricing, and paying is done with iDEAL or a bank card.
There is deliberately no checkout button anywhere on this site. Ordering happens in a WhatsApp conversation, which is also where you can ask whether the one channel you actually care about is included — before you pay for anything.
Where to go next
- Not sure what IPTV is or whether it is allowed here? Start at is IPTV legal in the Netherlands? — including why it is a grey area rather than a simple yes.
- Want to know if your TV works? Watching on a Smart TV covers Samsung, LG and everything else.
- Here for the channels from home? International channels.
- Reading Dutch is fine? The Dutch site is much larger: ga naar de Nederlandse site.
Frequently asked questions
What is IPTV?
IPTV means television delivered over your internet connection instead of over a coaxial cable, a satellite dish or an aerial. It is the same underlying technique that Netflix, YouTube and the Dutch service NLZIET use, applied to live television channels rather than an on-demand catalogue.
Is IPTV legal in the Netherlands?
There is no law that bans IPTV, and the technique itself is not the issue. The legal question is about copyright on the channels: which party is allowed to pass on which channel. In this market that is genuinely a grey area rather than a yes or a no, and we explain why on our page about the legality of IPTV.
Is your support available in English?
Our support is in Dutch, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, over WhatsApp. We will help in English where we can, but Dutch is the language the service actually runs in. We would rather say that up front than have you find out afterwards.
Which channels from my home country are included?
The international package is strongest in Turkish, Moroccan, Arabic, Surinamese, Antillean, Indian, German and British channels. Ask before you order whether the specific channel you care about is in there — that is a better answer than any list we could publish here, because lists go out of date.
Do I need a dish or a cable subscription?
No. You need an internet connection of roughly 20 Mbit/s for HD or 25 Mbit/s for 4K, and something to watch on: a Smart TV, a small box, or your phone. No dish on the roof, no coaxial socket, no engineer visit.
How do I pay?
With iDEAL or a bank card. There is no checkout on this website: everything, including the order itself, happens in the WhatsApp conversation.
